THE PREMIER.
ON THE COAST. A HEARTY RECEPTION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Greymouth, Last Night. Sir J. G. Ward arrived from Christchurch this morning and was accorded a most enthusiastic reception. The station platform was crowded with peopie and all the representatitves of the local bodies were present. The Mayor extended a hearty welcome to the Premier and three cheers were given. The Premier acknowledged the warm and hearty welcome and said he was pleased to be again on the Coast. As the Premier's carriage left the station tne large crowd cheered him. Arrangements are being made in all parts of the Coast to entertain the Premier. • He unveils the Sedddn memorial to-morrow and special trains will be run. All the schools in the Grey and Westland districts are to be closed for the day and the cadets and volunteers will take part in to-morrow's ceremony. The Premier leaves the Coast on Saturday morning.
