HIGH SCHOOL BOARD
The usual monthly meeting of the Board was held on Wednesday, 18th May, when the following members were present: Messrs. Eraser (acting-chair-man), Smith, Glasgow, Wilson, Dockrill, and Dr. Fookes, Mr. MacDiarmid being absent in Sydney. The secretary was instructed to communicate with parents where fees were unpaid. It was also resolved that from the commencement of 1911 the scale of boarding and tuition fees should be amended so that higher rates would be charged where the fees were not paid within one month from the .beginning of the term. The purchase of a new flag was authorised, and the new plantation will be pat in ordar. Mr. Fraser was authorised to sign cheques during the absence of Mr. MacDiarmid, The secretary was instructed to take steps to recover rents from tenants in airear, the heavy expenditure recently incurred making it additionally important that there should' not be any arrears. Accounts 'amounting to £203 9s 3d were passed for payment.
