The South Australian and New Zealand branches of Oddfellows have cabled to the annual conference at Southampton their sympathy in the national bereavement, The conference discussed the establishment of a solvency insurance fund, aiming at raising deficiency lodges to a 90 per cent, standard of solvency. It is estimated that a penny in -the pound levy would raise a £IO,OOO reserve fund. The suggestion will be resubmitted to the next conerene.
