WHAT WEST AUSTRALIA WANTS. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Perth, May 18. Dr. Hatchett, chairman of the Royal Commission to consider the establishment of a University in Westralia, has submitted a report which states ■ that if a university is established its cfiief solicitude must ibe for the primary arts of production, on which the life of the State depends. Instead of putting classics in the chief rank it must aim at teaching a living language and pure science.
