TARANAIU ASSOCIATION,

A meeting of the Taranaki Hockey Association was held last night; present —Messrs. Barnard (Eltham) presiding, Dewhirst (Stratford), Priest (Inglewood), Sage (Hawera), Claphaan (Carrington Road), Crawford (New Plymouth), and W. Wood, acting secretary. It was decided to retain the present system of .playing in two divisions for the championship fixtures, the Stratford Club alone dissenting. It was decided to form a association and to hold a meeting of the nominees next Monday night. The following were (nominated: Messrs. B. Beale and Goldwater (New Plymouth), C. Jordan (Carrington Road), M. Mackay (Stratford), H. G. R. Mason (El-, tham), Pratt (Hawera), Rolston (Inglewood).
