POISONOUS ICE CREAM,

The trial of two men is proceeding at New York on a charge of poisoning horses belonging to Joseph Weiss, an ice cream manufacturer, by means of arsenic placed amongst oats. It was discovered that arsenic was used in ice cream, and 'the police therefore destroyed £I3OO worth of ice cream, the stock and machinery being coniiscaled. It is believed that a number of deaths hitherto unexplained were due to poisoned ice cream. RISE IN PRINTING PAPER.
