N.Z. RUGBY UNION. | ANNUAL MEETING. GRANT TO BAYLY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The annual meeting of the N.Z. Rugby Union was held this afternoon and this evening. Mr. E. H. Campbell (vice-presi-dent) presided, in the absence of Mr. F. Logan (president). In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, the chairman said he was nopeful that the English Rugby Union wou.d see fit to make further alterations in the game, which were considered desirable by the people here. Laurenson, M. J. Crombie and F. G. Wallburton; appeal council, F. H. Campbell, H. Harris and H. F. Sincock; auditor, O. G. Kemper; representative on English Union, C. Wray Palliser. The location of the appeal committee was fixed at \Vellington. The report of the delegates who attended the conference of New Zealand, New South Wales and Queensland Rugby Unions at Sydney early in the year to confer on matters affecting the laws of the game and professionalism, was formally presented and adopted. The sum of £IOO was voted towards encouragement of Rugby football in the primary schools of'the Dominion; £ls was voted to the N.Z. Referees' Association towards t'he expenses Of the next annual conference; and a bonus of £25 was voted to H. W. Kelly for services as treasurer.

A recommendation was made to the management committee that the North v. South match be played at Christchurch, this vear.
