CHRISTCHURCH SESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Frank Reed, who came up for sentence for the theft of moneys belonging to the Lyttelton Pirates Football Club, was admitted to probation for three years, and was 'ordered to repay the club at the rate of £5 half-yearly. Charles R. MePherson, who appeared for sentence for theft from the Spiritualists' Church, iwas sentenced to six months' imprisonment and declared to be an habitual criminal. James Carney, for theft from the person, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, and his Honor recommended i that he should be sent to Invercar<nll I gaol, where, he understood, there was a separate department for those not pre-1 viously convicted. Harry Shaw, for forgery, was admitted to probation for twelve months. The sessions are closed.
