SMALLPOX
OTWAY CASES. By Cable—Pres9 Association—Copyright Received Mav 13, 1.10 a.m. Perth, Last Night. The doctor of the steamer Otway is being proceeded against for failure to detect a smallpox patient, which was followed by a serious outbreak of the disease. The Health Officer, in his evidence, alleges that if a proper examination of the boy had been made, a medical man could diagnose smallpox.
