HORSE IN A TEA-ROOM. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. Last Night. A bolt attended by an amusing incident occurred in the city this afternoon. A horse attache;! to a spring cart bolted while the driver was away, and raced along Customs-street. The horse turned into Queen-street, but had scarcely rounded the corner by the Thames Hotel when he came to grief, colliding with a lorry. His legs sot entangled in one of the wheels of the lorn', and as soon as he was freed lie dashed into Messenger's tea-rooms', followed by a highly amused crowd. The animal, though much frightened 1 , was got out into the street without any trouble and without! causing any damage in the shop, though a number of ladies who were taking tea were much frightened.
