May 7Information lias .been received in town of the total destruction of the Bunnyt'horpe Hotel, together with Roe's Store opposite, at an early hours this morning. The hotel, together with all contents, was totally destroyed, but Roe's store, though the face of it was burnt, was saVed by the efforts of the bucket brigade. 'L'he stock was much damaged, partly by water and by a hurried removal. A RESIDENCE DESTROYED. Napier. May 7. The six-roomed residence of Kuropo Tarelia. at Waiohiki, was totally destroyed liy fire early this morning. Very little of t'lie contents was saved. The insurances on the house are £4OO. and or the furniture £245. all in the Commercial Union office.
