INGLEWOOD NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent). The social held in the Druid's Hall on Tuesday evening proved a decided and pronounced success. The floor, which was all that could be desired, was just nicely filled and dancing was delightful. Excellent music was supplied by the
lodge orchestra, and during the evening supper was handed round by many willing assistants. Dancing was kept up till the early hours, and all appeared to enjoy themselves thoroughly. ' The Inglewood Bacon Company paid out £lOBl 10s lid for pork during the month of April. A somewhat weak team of footballers journeyed to Tariki on Thursday to play a practice match with that team and suffered defeat by LI points to 6 after an' interesting and willing game. | The local team is reported to be exceptionally strong this year and the hope is entertained that their supporters will at least get a good run for their money.
