NAPIER LOANS. By Telegraph—Pross Association. Napier, May 5. The recount of the harbor loan poll disclosed 44 cases of dual, and one ot treble voting, 'but if the whole are taken from the number ot the votea recorded against the loan the total required to carry it is still a few short. On Monday the S.M. will hear the legal argument as to the validity of the poll, consequent on the alleged irregularities. The Borough Council has decided to invite tenders for a loan of £134,250 in preference to accepting me Governn .cut's otter for a part of the loan. LABORS' POLITICAL PLANS. Dunedin, May 5. Mr. McManus, secretary of the General Laborers' Union, says it is perfectly tine that the Lalwr forces are being organised throughout the Dominion with a view to placing the Political Labor League on an etfective basis. Coalition w)th either the Opposition or the Ward party is entirely out of the question, as it would mean immediate disaster. Their pian of campaign' would be similar to that of the Commonwealth Labor Party.
