The Ell wood trio of musical geniuses discovered in Cliristcluirch bv Mr. Ilusro Gorlitz recently gave their .lirst concert in Wellington to-night, and scored such a distinct success .th'at their coming tour of the Dominion promises to tie quite an unusua, event. •Harry Ellwood, asted 16, is a violinist; George (11) p, 'cellist, and Polly (15) a pianist. Both in concerted pieces and solos these children astonished the large audiagain and again. Miss Winnie Nixon, a New Plymouth lady, quite electrified the audience with her wonderful .soprano voice, which is of splendid quality and unusual range. It is intended to send the Ellwoods ■to Europe for tuition under the best masters.
