AMUSEMENTS.

THE HEWITT PICTURES. On Saturday night the attendance at the Theatre Royal must have been very gratifying to the proprietors of the Hewitt Pictures, considering the trouble they have gone to to secure such fine films as the public of New Plymouth has the pleasure of seeing. As on the two .previous evenings, "Across the Divide" found most favor in the dramatic series, and the uproarious laughter that greeted the comic pictures is sufficient evidence that the patrons were well catered for. To-night a complete change of programme will be shown, and if up to the standard of the last two series, should be well patronised.
