AUSTRALIAN AMATEUR ASSOCIATION. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Sydney, Thursday. The Amateur Athletic Association discussed a proposal to secede from the New South Wales Sporting Federation, strong exception being taken to the latter's attitude as regards League footballers. The debate was adjourned to permit of a mail vote by the Australasian Union as to whether a League footballer, even though he received no remuneration, is an amateur athlete.
