STATE FURNITURE

PRIME MINISTER -SAYS IT IS UNSOLD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Wednesday. With reference to the Press Association message from Auckland stating that the whole of the valuable furniture and fittings contained in the Government House was removed and sold at auction, the Prime Minister, questioned on the subject, stated that no authority had been given by the Government for the sole of any furniture or fittings, emner by auction or privately, in Auckland, and he was informed by the controlling head of the Department that no sale of any Government furniture or fittings had taken place.
