The Times' Washington correspondent states that ex-Governor Hughes lias accepted a Supreme Court Judgeship. This will make ex-President Roosevelt a more important factor than ever. There is renewed speculation at Washington regarding the possioilitv of Mr. Roosevelt's being forced to again stand for the Presidency.
