LORD KITCHENER
"SEND US K. OF K.!" By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received j\pri! 28, 0.40 a.m. London, April 27. Lord Kitchener's arrival in London was the theme of many leading articles. The Times refers to nis coming duties in the Mediterranean, and savs it is natural he should be attracted by the prospect of renewed work in Egypt, but England is loth that he should be lost to view for any great length of time. The Chronicle, in a special article, says that although the Mediterranean is still the geographical centre of the Empire, it is almost ludicrously unworthy of Lord Kitchener's abilities*. He cou]'d exhaust all its possibilities in three months. The Chronicle adds that it is the incessant cry of every Anglo-Indian, "When Earl Minto goes, send us K.' of K.!"
