BIBLE READING IN SCHOOLS
PROPOSAL REJECTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night, At tile annual mooting of Port Almriri householders a motion to permit Bible-reading in that school was rejected by a. very large majority. Thames, Last Xight. The Nelson system of BiiUe reading in schools was mentioned at. local meetings of householders. No delinite action was taken, except that one committee decided to further consider the matter.
