At the Police Court, Henry James Hansen, charged with attempting to murder his son at Ngnnguru. was remanded to appear at Whangarei on 2tith April. Accused's solicitor slated the injured son was out of danger, lie asked for bail. The police opposed, ir-srng that the assault was of a murderous character, without any suggestion of drink. The application was not pressed.
