WRECKAGE COMING ASHORE. By Gable—Press Association—Copyright. , Perth, Saturday. Lloyds' surveyor lias returned from the scene of the Pericles disaster without finding the wreck. The fittings and forepart of tiie vessel have come ashore at Cape Leeuwin. It is surmised the afterpart is intact.

A'barnacle-encrusted bottle was picked up on the beach here containing an ocean-current paper put overboard trom the Pericles on (sth August, 11108. The position of the ship then was nor(,tlv,.,ra of the Crozcts. The bottle has drifted ever 7030 miles.
