ANTWERP WOOL SALES. Received April 20. 0.25 p.m. Antwerp, April 20. At the wool sales there was a large attendance, and bidding was animated. There was an advance of five centimes all round. Three thousand two hundred and seventy-eight bales of La Plata were offered and 1214 sold. THE SOUTH AUSTRALIAN LOAN. Received April 20. D.25 p.m. London, April 20. The statement of the South Australian Treasurer cabled on the 10th that the Government is not concerned with the flotation of the loan, which probably represents recent private purchases of stock, has caused much comment in financial circles.
