TARANAKI WOOL, SKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALE. MR, NEWTON KING'S REPORT. On Tuesday, AprU 12th, I held my usual four-weekly sale of the above produce, The catalogue was comprised of 49 .bales and 257 sacks of wool, 2 ( J01 sheepskins, 20 casks and 36 tins of tallow, 418 calfskins, 1403 hides, including COO from the freezing works, and the •usual assortment of hair, tails, etc. Prices for sheepskins were on about the same level as last sale, any change bsing in buyers' favor. The bulk of the wool offered, was' of rather inferior quality and in nearly all cases declined %d per lb. Hides—-There was keen competition for all lines. Values all round might be quoted on a par with the prices ruling at my last sale. Tallow advanced 20s to 25s per ton.
