Throng]] the generosity of one of its prominent members the West End Club ■has 'been extremely fortunate in getting sufficient turf of an excellent quality to cover the whole of the eight rinks, and a meeting of the committee will be held on Tuesday evening to consider ways and means of laying all the turf down. The plans and specifications, which have been prepared, will be required bo foe .slightly altered, and tenders will be called by advertisement on Wednesday, as the committee is anxi- 1 ous to get the work under way.
