The Manawatu meeting was remarkable for the success which all over the "Higlulen" horses. Polymorphous' downed an aristocratic field in the stakes, Boanerges gathered in the Telegraph and Juvenile Handicaps, and Nyland ran off with the Borough Handicap. These were practically the plums' ol the programme, and as the winners all startai liberal odds the stable must have had a solid win.
