Miss Cowles, assistant teacher at the Tikorangi School, has resigned her position.
In response to a request, Mr. W. K Jenkins lias consented to again offer his services to the borough as Mayor of Waitara.
Mr. C. La wry, of the local staff of the Deeds Department, is leaving the service to take up a position with Messrs. Malone, Anderson and Johnstone, succeeding Mr. J. F. Strang.
Mr. C. O'Sullivan, of Ureti, will he a candidate for the position of tenants' representative of the Taranaki Land Board, rendered vacant by the expiry of "Mr. J. B. Connett's' term.
Mr. Morgan, ('acher of the Upper Maneorei School, i.ns had to take a rest « owing to indisptnition, and Miss Carmichael has been appointed to relW? him.
The Rev. C. F. R. Harrison, late of Wniukn, Auckland, was instituted nn vicar of the parochial district of Waitara 011 Sundnv morning, the ceremony V.eing performed liv the Rev. Archdeacon Cole.
