Messrs. L. A. Nolan and Co. advertise for sale a lease of 7GO acres, on behalf of the School Commissioners. Tile sale takes place on 18th May. Mr. William Fraser, chemist, has a replace advertisement in another column in connection with Fraser's Hair Restorer.
Mr. Newton King intended tn offer for sale at Waiwakaiho on Thursday 50 Angora goats. This line has not arrived, and cannot therefore be offered. Every woman is bound to need a couple of heavier washing blouses, for winter wear, and in this paper Messrs. Morey and Son call attention to lh«>i: extensive stock. The lines advertised include also some silk erepe de chine and lace effects for smarter wear.
The committee of the EgmoTit Lodge, 1.0.0. F., to manage the euchre party and dance on Thursday evening next, 14th instant, met last evening, when it was reported that tickets were selling well and everything promised a most successful and pleasant evening. Two brethren donated handsome prizes, and the committee decided to give first and second prizes each for ladies and gentlemen.
Day by day new additions are being made to White and Sons' millinery •tock, as the hats .previously on s'how vanish from the stands.
