Wellington, April 8.

At the Magistrate's Court to-day Charles Wat kin* was fined £2O for sly grog selling at his premises in Fredrick street.

Masterton, April 3.

Kate Xclsen. a boarding house keeper, was charged at the >S.M. Court this morning for selling liquor within the no-license area. The evidence showed the .vale of a glass of "whisky and a bottle of beer to one Peter Hyder,' a newspaper runner and a chimney sweeper, who subsequently informed the police. A fine of i!SO and costs was imposed. ;
