OUR COMPETITORS

INFORMATION WANTED

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, April 9. Comment was made yesterday at a •meeting of the Chamber of Commerce on the absence of reliable news concerning the Argentine trade. A member pointed out that a drought of extensive character occurred, and this affected the output enormously. Prices went up in London, and this information would have been very useful >o Dominion producers if obtained promptly, instead of having to wait six weeks. The Chamber res'olved that the Minister of Agriculture be asked to make arrangements with the High Commissioner for enabling reliable information a.s to what is happening in the Argentine as affecting New Zealand trade.
