An Australian shipping journal published lately some particulars of a new Kteamer. the Themistocles, being built for the Aberdeen line. Curiously enough, the article appeared in the same issue containing the news that the Aberdeen liner Pericles had foundered off Cape Leeuwin. The Themistocles will be of similar dimensions to the lost Pericles, an 11.00?)-ton /twin-screw vessel which, herself almost new, was already popu3ar. The new steamer, which is being built by Messrs Harland and Wolff, should be in service early next year.
