Mrs. Catherine Thurston, novelist, has teen divorced from her husband, Mr. E. Temple Thurston, on the grounds of adultery and desertion. He insisted on living in the Solio slums for the purpose of writing a novel.

Mr. E. Temple Thurston is a poet and the author of "The Apple of Eden." His wife wTote "John Chilcote, M.P.," which he dramatised. Mr. Thurston has published many novels.
