During the year closed on 31st March the State Bank made 087 advances aggregating £158,092, bringing the total amount advanced to £1,544,846. Repayments during the year totalled ; £17,011. It rises a law minutes before the sun's glare at the breaking of the day, making observations impossible. A 750-GUINEA COLT DEAD. Received April 9, 1.30 a.m. Sydney, Last Night. The Ayr Laddie—Oralena colt purchased by Connoly at the Sydney sales for 750 guineas, while being broken in, bolted. He sustained fatal injuries. THE OTWAY RELEASED. . Sydney, April 8. The Otway has been released from quarantine.
