ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION
APPOINTMENT OF SCIENTISTS. By Telegraph.-Presa Association. Christchurch, Last Night. An English scientist, writing to a friend in Christchurch, states that Cantain Scott has arranged to take on his Antarctic expedition as physicist Dr Simpson, at present in the Tndian meteorological service, contingent on the Indian Government granting Dr Simpson the necessary leave. Dr. Simpson is an old student of Dr Schuster, second physicist, at present working at the Cavendish laboratory who has also been engaged to <p with the expedition.
