Hewitts Pictures to-night The Rev. the Hon. Yarde-Buller is advertised to give a lecture this evening in the Town Hall, the subject being "Jack and the Navy." The rev .gentleman is full of his>> subject, and the lecture is most interestingly illustrated with a fine series.of lantern slides. Mothers of little folk who are desirous that the children always present to their relations and friends an attractive appearance, will be interested in the announcement of Messrs. Morey and Son in our advertising columns today. Seasonable children's raiment is quoted. At Rahotu this evening a meeting will foe held for the purpose of electing trustees to the Rahotu Domain Board. ! I MessTs Thos. Borthwick and «<ons (Australasia, Ltd.) advise a further advance in the price of prime porkers and pigs. Day by day new additions are being ! made to White and Sons' millinery stock, as the hats previously on Know vanish from the stands.
