At Inglewood the other day M' Louis De Launay was married to Mis Margaret Nicholls.
Mr W. J. Otway, who was temporarily attached to the Hawera staff of the Stock Department, has acceeded Mr J. M. Hignett as Stock Inspector at Stratford.
Mr and Mrs Raynes', well lnown locally as having conducted the Terminus Hotel for many years, are in New Plymouth in connection with tile transfers of the Imperial and Terminus Hotels, of which they own the fre'ehoU Something like a romane! Last week an elderly lady arrivet from the Old Country to join he brother, having been informed th-t he was working on a farm on thefhaia Road. She had 'been searching ad inquiring for him for some twenty y/ars, and as it means a financial gain :o the longlost brother, the meetinf was both pleasing and gratifying Opunakej Times. ,
