The Chamber of Commerce discussed, anomalies in the railway fares and freights, and resolved to write to ail Chambers in the North Island, asking if they favour the formation of a Nortlr Island Railways League, composed in th« first instance of members of Chamber* of Commerce, for the purpose ot" endeavouring to get the North Island members of Parliament to combine and obtain fair piny in railway management' and expenditure generally. ■ Auckland.
