GOLF.
LADIES' TOl'R-N'AMEX ... The ladies' golf tournament, which had to be postponed from Wednesday on account of the boisterous weather, was held on the Xgamotu links on Friday. The postponement had reduced the field, visiting competitors having, with one exception, returned home, The day was ■beautifully fine. Miss Stephenson, as secretary, and Mrs. J. Paton, Misses Percy-Smith and Bcwley, members of the committee, had charge of the meeting, which passed off very enjoyably. Mrs. Arnold Jones gave willing and valuable assistance in the approaching and driving competitions, and, in the unavoidable, absence of Mr. A. 11. Glasgow, captain of the Xgamotu Club, Mr. Easther presented the prizes. The following arc the results:—

Fourteen entries. The approaching competition was won ■by Miss Stephenson (150 yds). with Mrs. McLean (133 yds 2ft) second, and Miss. Read (125 yds) third. The continuous pv.ttingi was won by Mrs. Johns, with 17.
