1 THE SATURDAY COMPETITION. EGMONT VILLAGE v. FIRE ! BRIGADE. The Eire Brigade team journeyed To Egmont Village on Saturday to meet the local club. They were well treated, despite the fact that they arrived late. Egmont Milage went to the wickets and had the satis'faction of putting up tke very fair hurdle of 104 runs for the town team to negotiate. When stumps were drawn the Brigade had lost one wicket for 13. S. Billings lost his wieuet without scoring. The not-out mon were L. Bullot (5) and F. Danks (11).
