WARSHIP BUILDING.

THREE KEELS LAID. By Cable. —Prees Association. —Convrisrht London, April 1. The keel plates of the battleships Conqueror and Monarch and the cruiser Princess Royal were laid to-day at Beardmore's, Armstrong's and Vicker's yards' respectively. The keel of the Thunderer will belaid at Blackwall on April 13. The sum of , £347,609 has already been spent on the preliminary preparations for these ships. The battleship Coloss'us will be launched on April 9 at Clyde Bank. The construction has only occupied eleven months.
