INGLEWOOD NOTES.
(From Our Resident Correspondent.) The Inglewood Horticultural and Poultry Society held their annual show in the Parish and Gymnasium Halls on Friday afternoon and evening'. The entries were well up to the usual standard, and some of the exhibits were of a very liiprli order, especially in the pot plants and farm and jrarden produce section. A feature of the show was' an exhibit of pot plants by Messrs Duncan and Dsivies Westown, Xew Plymouth. Rome fine Specimens of maiden hair ferns, asparagus fern and palms werf admired, as were the various' varieties of begonias exhibited. Included in the exhibit wns a. choice selection of apples. The atli'iidance was reduced owinj; to the boisterous weather. Air W. H. Taylor. I lie energetic secretary, and a strong committee, did much for the success of the show.
