MR ROOSEVELT.
AN ADDRESS TO EGYPTIANS. By Oable.—Pre6s Association.—Copyright Cairo, March 29. Mr Roosevelt, in an address at the Egyption University, expressed the abhorrence of the civilised world at the murder of Boutros Paaha, which he described as the pinnacle of infamy. He emphasised the right conception of the functions of education, and added mat paper constitutions were futile unless the people relied on self-government. EGYPTIAN NATIONALISTS' PROTEST. Received March 30, 10.10 p.m. Cairo, March 30. Nationalist students held a meeting at Cairo and protested against Mr. Roosevelt's speech at the University.
