SENTENCED TO DEATH. B.rOaMe. —Preen JMwoeiafion. —ConT«*t)t Calcutta, March 29. Kanare and two of his confederates', who were found guilty of abetting rn the murder of Mr Jackson a collector at Nasik, .have been sentenced to death, two others to transportation for nfe, and another to two years' hard labour. The editor of the Swarajya, a newspaper published at Allahabad, was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment for publishing seditious articles.
