Mrs Hinton was warming food loi <n infant over a spirit lamp when it exploded, and set the bed on fire w::ore the infant and another child were lying. The mother was terribly burned in trying to rescue them. She and the infant have succumbed. The other child and a man who came to the rescue w.-e badly burned.
