EX-CONSTABLE IN TROUBLE. By Telegraph,—Prwa Association Wellington, March 23. Ex-Constable William M'Dermott, already awaiting trial on several charges of forgery, was further charged to-i.*y with forgery in two cases. One of the cases concerned an attempt to procure money in the name of J. A. Farmer, trainer of Mr. W. E. Bidwell'tf horse.;, for the purpose of nominating two of Mr Bidwell's horses at the Australian meeting. Accused was committed 'or trial. THE WELLINGTON MURDER CHARGE. Wellington, March 23. After the evidence of one witness tod been heard in the/_charge of murur against Robert Corkill, bailiff, accused was further remanded till Wednesday next.
