THE LONDON MARKETS. By Cable. —Press Assoc im i"ti.- <-opyrit, rl .ir London, March 21. An inferior selection was offered at the wool sales to-day, but prices were well maintained. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 4,090,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,980,000 quarters; Atlantic shipments 114,000 • quarters'; total shipments to Europe this week 1,030,000 quarters, including 101,000 quarters from Argentina and Uruguay. Mr Licht estimates the production ot beet sugar shows a decrease of 191,000 tons, and that for the whole season the decrease will be 332.000 tons. Silver, 23 15-16 d per oz.
