CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER
AGAINST A DOCTOR AND NURSE. By Cable. —Pre6s Association.-r-Copyrigjjj Received March 22, 0.30 a.m. Sydney, Last Night. The trial of Dr. Carlo Fiaschi and Nurse Young on a charge of manslaughter of a girl named Nightingale at Litligow on 10th January opened to-day. The doctor .who had previously stated there was no indication of an operation .for hemorrhoids, and that an important organ was missing, gave evidence that the supposed missing organ was to-day iound, in the presence of a number of medical experts, attached to another organ; thert were also indications of an operation for hemorrhoids. Under the circumstances he therefore reversed his previous evidence, which arose through the abnormal condition of the organs.
