The sec-1 retary's report congratulated members! on a very successful season, they hav- i ing • kept every engagement, winning ten matches out of eighteen. The oal- < ance sheet showed a credit balance of £4 2s lOd. which was considered very satisfactory. Thanks were accorded to Messrs Whittle, J. M'Neill, J. Avery, P. Lealand and G. Boulton for donations and gifts of cards', etc., .and to the press. The election of officers' resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. W. T. Jennings/ M.P.; president, Colonel Ellis; wepresidents, Messrs G. Boulton, J. M'Neill, W. Sole, E. Whittle, P. Lea- , land, A. Cliff, J. Avery and J. Smitfl;: lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr A. Lee; selection and management commit-' tee, the captain, vice-captain, Mr R. : Kibby, and the secretary; delegate to association, Mr E. Whittle; capvaffl, Mr E. Whittle; viee-eaptain, Mr W.\ Ellis. j As the room used last year for tire dub games is not available for the coming season, the committee was instructed to make the best arrangements .possible. The delegate was instructed to, insist on all matches being started to '■ time and played for the full two hours, j The subscription for the year was fixed i at ss.
