The Victorian Racing Club has decided, owing to the number of horses injured through being galloped upon by those shod with plates, to prohibit the use of plates at Flemington. TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB. The T.J.C, Committee met iinmei''ately after, when one new member was elected and accounts amounting to £lOl were passed for payment.
