That colliery will resume tomorrow. 1 The fleet of vessels awaiting coal a.re now being moved under the cranes. AN ILL WIND, ETC. VICTORIAN SAVINGS. Melbourne, Last Night. The Railway Commissioners by using the Powlett River coal will save £30,000 per annum, while £35,000 in coal freights will be earned this year. It is estimated the railways will earn £75,000 by this means next year.
